血管畸形並非血管瘤，因為其血管內壁細胞的細胞代謝循環是正常的，而非如腫瘤般增生。血管畸形有不正常的血管先天性存在，且血管內壓變化而造成血管叢慢慢擴大及變多。血管畸形可以存在身體的任何部分。
依血液流速不同，血管畸形可以分為三類，即：
1. 微血管型血管畸形 ( Capillary
Vascular Malformation)
又稱葡萄酒斑表皮病變 ( port-wine
staim skin lesion )。
2. 低流量型血管畸形 ( Low
Flow Vascular Malformation )，
屬於靜脈型血管畸形 ( Venous
Vascular Malformation ) 。
3. 高流量型血管畸形 ( High
Flow Vascular Malformation )，
屬於動脈型血管畸形 ( Arterial
Vascular Malformation ) 。 |
